Ashley Roy joined PCSAO in March 2025 as the Initiatives Manager to support the implementation of Ohio’s Shared Practice Model (PACT) and the Ohio START COSTARS program.
Roy served as a technical assistant for eight months with the PACT program and is the co-host of the 3,000 Good Things podcast. Roy previously served as the Ohio START caseworker at Brown County Children Services and also worked in the ongoing and intake units with an emphasis in serving families experiencing substance misuse, domestic violence, and multi-system youth. Roy is a strong advocate for supporting child welfare’s frontline staff, ensuring their mental health and well-being as new initiatives and opportunities are introduced. Roy believes that when we implement change based on data, utilize evidence-based supports, and elevate healing and family voices, we will see positive and lasting change.
Roy obtained a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Strayer University.
In her time away from work, Roy enjoys volunteering with the Brown County Board of Mental Health and Addiction Services and Brown County Drug Coalition as well as spending time with her husband, Timothy, and two children.
