All five children services levies pass in delayed primary
All five children services levies on the ballot for what was technically the March 17 primary election passed, based on the unofficial complete canvass posted last night.
Hancock became the 53rd Ohio county with a children services levy, passing a new .8-mill five-year levy. Columbiana, Geauga, and Portage passed their renewal levies with high margins; Cuyahoga’s combined human services renewal-with-increase levy also passed handily. Official results will be available May 19.
PCSAO extends its congratulations to all of the agency staff who worked hard (after hours) to support their levies, and thanks voters for their invaluable community support.
