Visitation Specialist

VISITATION SPECIALIST – FULL TIME

This position gives you the opportunity to help families in Wayne County by facilitating visits between children and parents. This includes transporting children and adults to and from appointments and visits, supervising visits, modeling appropriate parenting behaviors, entering case notes into our computer system, and administering client drug screens.

Minimum Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or Equivalent
-Ability to work two evenings each week, and two Saturdays each month
-Keyboard/Computer Literate
-Ability to lift and carry children, car seats, and miscellaneous items
-Ability to work with adults and children from diverse backgrounds
-Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with agency policy.
-Must own, lease, or have immediate access to safe and reliable personal transportation to use for work related responsibilities, including transporting children and adults, when an agency vehicle is not available. Must maintain minimum insurance, per agency policy, on said transportation.
