CASEWORKER II – ONGOING POSITIONS

The right individual in an Ongoing (Protective Service) position will be given the opportunity to  help families in Wayne County by providing direct services such as completing risk assessments, providing counseling, making referrals, and creating and monitoring case plans.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field required.
-Valid Ohio driver’s license and acceptable driving record as defined by Agency policy.
-Must own, lease, or have immediate access to safe and reliable personal transportation to use for work related responsibilities when an agency vehicle is not available, including the transportation of children and/or adults; must maintain minimum insurance (per agency policy) on said transportation.
-Flexibility in daily routines.
-Keyboard/computer literate.
-Must pass BMV check, background check, and drug/alcohol screening.
-Position is on-call approximately two-three weeks per year. While on-call, employee must reside within a one (1) hour response time to all points in Wayne County.
