PCSAO is proud to cosponsor the fourth annual Fostering Pathways to Success Conference Oct. 12 in Columbus.

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and Ohio Reach have partnered to develop a day filled with opportunities for youth in foster care, those recently emancipated, and their adult supporters around the theme “Crossing Bridges to Your Future.” As in previous years, the conference will take place at Xenos Christian Fellowship, 1390 Community Park Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43229. Independent Living coordinators, ongoing case managers, agency administrators, workforce professionals and others working with foster youth are encouraged to attend and bring youth in foster care ages 14-18 and young adults formerly in care ages 19-21.

Invitees also include Ohio Reach college campus liaisons, higher education professionals, high school guidance counselors, and others committed to the success of foster youth in high school, higher education, employment, and self-sufficiency.

Registration is free, and parking at the conference venue is free. Adult supporters and emancipated young adult participants may register through the conference registration link. Current foster youth’s registration information should be sent to this secure mailbox. Sign up to volunteer at the conference.

Register early to secure your spot, as the conference is expected to reach capacity. Questions regarding registration should be directed to Transitional Youth Coordinator Shelly Boyd, 614-752-2701.
