Max F. Bucey

Max F. Bucey, a licensed social worker with over 32 years of Child Welfare experience in Ohio, served as the Executive Director of Athens County Children Services, an agency knows for innovative programs in Adoption, Juvenile Justice and child abuse prevention. He has been a caseworker and supervisor at the county level, a program development specialist for ODJFS (ODHS) and an Adoption specialist for a private agency. Max has a BSW from Capital University and completed the CRAFT program at the University of Michigan. He was named a Fellow at NACAC and the CWLA, and completed the Executive Leadership Institute at the George V. Voinovich Center at Ohio University. Max was a founding trustee of PCSAO and served as president 3 years (1985, 1995-1996).
