Continuing Education Unites
(CEUs)
The Ohio Child Welfare Training Program (OCWTP) is an approved provider for the State of Ohio Social Worker board and Counseling Board. Selected workshops meet Board guidelines, and can be used by licensees toward their license renewal requirement. Certificates will be issued ONLY to people who attend the workshop in its entirety, and evaluate the workshop on the evaluation form. |

Conference
Dress Code The dress code at the conference is business casual. Although the hotel tries to keep the meeting rooms at a comfortable temperature, we would recommend that you dress in layers. Remember that meeting rooms are often cool, so you may wish to include a jacket or sweater. |

Award winner recognitions Each year at the conference, we recognize the Rising Up and Moving On Youth; Foster, Adoptive, and Kinship families of the Year; and Caseworker and Supervisor of the Year. We will also recognize the work of child welfare champions the Legislator of the Year, Dan Schneider Leadership in Training, Journalist of the Year, and Child Advocate of the Year award winners. The award presentations will be held in the ballroom during Thursday luncheon and Friday brunch (September 10 & 11). Join us to celebrate their success! |
