Welcome MVOB!

Exhibitors County gift baskets Statewide child welfare training Award winners recognition
Continuing Education Unites (CEUs)
The Ohio Child Welfare Training Program (OCWTP) is an approved provider for the State of Ohio Social Worker board and Counseling Board. Selected workshops meet Board guidelines, and can be used by licensees toward their license renewal requirement. Certificates will be issued ONLY to people who attend the workshop in its entirety, and evaluate the workshop on the evaluation form.
Conference Dress Code
The dress code at the conference is business casual. Although the hotel tries to keep the meeting rooms at a comfortable temperature, we would recommend that you dress in layers. Remember that meeting rooms are often cool, so you may wish to include a jacket or sweater.
PCSAO Award winner recognitions
Each year at the conference, we recognize the Rising Up and Moving On Youth; Foster, Adoptive, and Kinship families of the Year; and Caseworker and Supervisor of the Year. We will also recognize the work of child welfare champions – the Legislator of the Year, Dan Schneider Leadership in Training, Journalist of the Year, and Child Advocate of the Year award winners. The award presentations will be held in the ballroom during Thursday luncheon and Friday brunch (September 10 & 11). Join us to celebrate their success!

Networking Events

  • Evening Receptions: Come and join us in a live concert and entertainment with a Karaoke singing and dancing at the evening reception. We have two nights (September 9 & 10, from 8:30p.m. - 11:00p.m.) of fun and entertainment planned for your enjoyment and participation. So come ready to sing and dance the night away. We want to see your face in the Place!

  •  University Partnership Program Meet & Greet: PCSA Directors and HR staff are invited to attend the UPP Meet and Greet where you can meet this year’s UPP seniors and MSW students who will be ready for hire next spring. PCSAs are encouraged to bring along materials about their agencies to share with these prospective new caseworkers. Any agency anticipating the need for casework staff next year is encouraged to attend. This is a fun event with door prizes and refreshments.
