Arlene Jones
Foster Youth Advisor
Arlene
spent time in foster care as a child, and today uses her experience
to empower youth and improve the foster care experience in Ohio and
the nation. She currently serves as President of Daybreak, Inc.
Youth Advisory Board in Dayton and volunteers in many other
capacities in the community, including the Montgomery County
Juvenile Court CASA program.
Arlene
is a senior at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Majoring in
Sociology, she hopes to one day work in the area of social services
as an advocate for at-risk and “throw-away” adolescents. In
addition to being an avid social service pioneer and full-time
student, she is a committed wife and mother to three young boys.
