Alex Bishara
OSU-MSW Student Intern
Alex Bishara is a Columbus
native and obtained his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The
Ohio State University in 2001. Following graduation Alex traveled
to Kenya and Tanzania to work with the Missionaries of Charity for 6
months. This amazing and eye-opening experience afforded Alex the
opportunity to work with children and the elderly in one of the most
impoverished areas in the world. After returning Alex began working
in the field of substance abuse with adolescents as well as
providing prevention services for adults. Alex is now a Licensed
Chemical Dependency Counselor III (LCDCII) working with the Abraxas
Counseling Center in Columbus. Alex lives with his wife Sandy, their
19 month old daughter, and 8 month old twin sons. |
