§
5153.13. Bonds of executive director, employees.

Before entering
upon official duties, the executive director shall give a bond to the
county in such sum as is fixed by the public children services agency,
with sufficient surety, conditioned upon the faithful performance of
official duties and the full and faithful accounting of all funds and
properties of the agency or county coming into the executive director's
hands. Before entering upon such duties, the executive director shall
give a bond to the probate court, with sufficient surety, conditioned
upon the full and faithful accounting of all trust funds which the
executive director holds on behalf of wards. The amount of such bond
shall be determined by the court and may be modified by the court,
provided that the minimum amount of the bond shall be five thousand
dollars.

The agency may
require any other employee thereof, including the superintendent of the
children's home, having custody or control of funds or property, to give
bond to the county, in such sum as the board determines, with sufficient
surety, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties of such
employee and the full and faithful accounting of any funds and
properties coming into the employee's hands. The cost of such bonds
shall be paid by the agency.
