5153.11. Powers and duties of executive director. |

|
The executive
director shall administer the work of the public children services
agency, subject to the rules of the agency. With the approval of the
agency, the executive director shall appoint all other employees except
the superintendent of any institution maintained by the agency. Such
superintendent shall appoint all employees in any such institution. |

|
Upon the advice
of one or more reputable practicing physicians, the executive director
may consent to such medical, dental, and surgical care, including
surgery and the administration of anesthetics, inoculations, and
immunizations, or other care as appears to be necessary for any child
who is in the temporary or permanent custody of such agency. The
executive director may also consent to the enlistment of a ward of such
agency into the armed forces of the United States. |
