[§ 5103.03.1] § 5103.031. Preplacement training for foster caregivers.

Except as provided in section 5103.033 [5103.03.3] of the Revised Code, the department of job and family services may not issue a certificate under section 5103.03 of the Revised Code to a foster home unless the foster caregiver successfully completes the following amount of preplacement training through a preplacement training program operated under section 5103.034 [5103.03.4] or 5153.60 of the Revised Code: 

(A) If the foster home is a family foster home, at least twenty-four hours; 

(B) If the foster home is a specialized foster home, at least thirty-six hours.
